We’ve had so much fun over the summer that it’s hard to get back into ‘work mood’!
I am currently working part time at Graham and Green in Notting Hill. Such a beautiful store and always a great source of inspiration. So much so that I spend most of my wages there! And actually not hard to get back to work with the lovely team there.
I am also returning to our own project with some new thoughts. Having taken stock of our samples to date and thinking about our business plan for the next 3 and 6 months I’m having a major rethink on our product range. There’s no doubt that Toby’s art is beautiful and everyone who sees it says they love it. However I’m thinking about background colours and taking elements of the paintings to create new stories. I phone Becci, our website designer and it becomes a creative chit chat with us both bouncing loads of concepts around. By the end of the day she’s come back to me with photo mock ups of some of these ideas. I need to schedule a meeting with our graphic designer. Done! And ask Toby what he thinks! He loves it! Phew!
And it’s also back to school for my teenager. I’m hugely proud as she starts sixth form at The Brit School in Croydon to study Technical Theatre Design. She’s way too cool for a back to school photo so here’s a cute pic of early school days and a little trip down memory lane (she’ll kill me!)
Good luck Indy!
